Lots of textures changed from the Japanese version don't have their 2001 versions documented here; many are carried over from the Japan-only N64 version, so if they do get uploaded it might be beneficial to post them on a dedicated page for the original Doubutsu no Mori.

Many in-game sprites and models with changes between versions also need documentation on TSR and TMR.

For some reason, maybe to take advantage of a model with a separate head already made, the model and textures of Bowser in this game are the exact same used in Mario & Sonic London Wii as his mid poly model there (besides the absense of spec and rimlight textures and such, plus his hair being part of his head model in this game instead of his body model) and by extension, used in Mario & Sonic London 3ds as his high poly model). I've suspected at first just by looking at the unique artstyle the Mario & Sonic games' character textures have since london and was able to confirm that after seeing screenshots from the 3ds game and also extracting and looking at the wii model.

The textures in this sheet look like they've somehow been blurred by half a pixel (????) rather than being as sharp as they should be. This is especially noticeable on the borders of the textures where there are transparent pixels.

This sheet has been incomplete for a while now anyway so I'm just going to go ahead and rerip it.

if it did work, i would've probably converted all the remaining textures already. i don't know why it doesn't work. the mario sunshine textures are saved as png files. no idea why nintendo just didn't use .png files for sm64 textures. would've been way easier to upload them here.
