Something I've noticed with the game's SRM textures is that they actually are 3 textures in one, the red channel is Ambient Occlusion, green is Roughness, and blue is Metallic. You can use Texture Remix to extract these RGB channels from the SRM textures

the textures with the heart and the spade on them are apparently remnants of the card area seen in the 2010 prototype of the game but from after the artstyle changed to the one from the released game from what i heard

What I think you are referring to are just the many old textures they have, that's why they are there (along with a lot of ores and raw minerals). The textures that are used in game are in their proper sections on the left side.
